Lucía Burguete


Lucía's connection with movement began through rhythmic gymnastics, where she achieved great results competing nationally during her adolescence.

She later began taking classical and contemporary dance classes at the Antonio Almenara Dance Center in Zaragoza and pursued advanced studies in choreography and performance at Dantzerti in Bilbao. Between 2019 and 2021, she studied at La Faktoría Choreographic Center in Pamplona with teachers such as Laura Aris, Marta Coronado, Lali Ayguadé, Isael Mata, Judith Sánchez, and Bertha Bermúdez, among others.

Lucía has worked—and continues to work—with other companies such as Peeping Tom –Tryptich/Dyptich–, LED Silhouette –Halley, Les Noces, Lys, Wild Street, Albor–, Antonio Ruz –MacBeth–, Proyecto Larrua –Muda–, Laida Aldaz –Inside/Inperspective–, and Vicky Miranda –Besta–. She has also worked on small stage projects with Marta Coronado, Isael Mata, Judith Sánchez, and Roberto Magro. In addition, she has been a guest instructor in training programs such as the TRY Dance Program and Impulstanz Vienna –where she was Laura Aris's assistant– and has collaborated with the national junior rhythmic gymnastics team and other cultural institutions on audience development and outreach projects.

QABALUM


During her time in Pamplona, ​​around 2021 and following the pandemic, she formed the company Qabalum with Diego Pazó, with whom she has worked continuously ever since, creating and performing works such as LA MEDIDA QUE NOS HA DE DIVIDIR and TODO ESTE RUIDO, which have been presented at dozens of national and international festivals, garnering various awards and accolades.
