LA LEVEDAD

LA LEVEDAD

Length: 15’

“It was then
that we built a delicate abyss
into which to plunge
A handful of points that compose the future
and we suspended ourselves in their disappearance
Attraction in all its variables
the horizontal and the infinite
expectation
will.
When everything has finished falling
and all that remains
is the imminent possibility of our ascent
What is left for us?”

Special thanks to: Carmen Larraz and Marta Coronado.
Co-produced by Festival Danzad Danzad Malditos in collaboration with La Faktoría Choreographic Center.

LA LEVEDAD is a three bodies-dance piece for unconventional spaces based on contact improvisation, acrobatics, and floor work. A meeting place for the body surrendered to gravity in a world where everything seems to be falling apart.
